How to keep a copy of your Open edX course?.

Once the course run has finished, you can either launch another version of the course or archive the course. In case you want to keep a copy of the course, you can go to Studio-tools-export and get the .targ.gz file; this is a compressed file that contains all the configurations in your course. Your course copy will not have any student, certificates, submissions, and forums data.

You can use the course copy later to create a course that follows the same content and course structure. Given the case, you will just have to go to the new course in Studio and import the file.
